Community Participation Support Services are designed to provide individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities opportunities to live their everyday lives through community inclusion and skills development activities and programming. Services are person-centered and designed to align with the individual’s preferences, strengths, and interests.
Participants are supported with making connections in their communities through:
- Conducting field trips to explore places, events, and neighborhoods
- Making connections with others through attendance at community events
- Participating in community activities, including volunteering at food pantries, libraries, etc.
